Due to the ongoing globalisation of the world economy and increasing information being made available to consumers on socially responsible trading issues across the world, there is increasing concern over the conditions in which the designs that we produce through our company are actually manufactured by the buying company. Although our direct buyers are all UK based, or UK agents of overseas companies, we recognise that we are part of a worldwide designer chain. We must therefore react to consumer concerns and work with our buyers to ensure that decent labour conditions are upheld across our company chains.
